The 6th Chinese C. elegans Conference has come to a successful conclusion recently in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. The conference focused on the topics of genetics, development, metabolism, aging, neurology.
Wang Qingqing, dean of The School of Basic Medical Sciences of Zhejiang University, Wang Xiaochen, researcher of Institute of Biophysics of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Kang Lijun, professor of Zhejiang University delivered opening speeches for the conference.
Speakers from various universities and research institutions across the country shared a total of 37 academic reports. Nearly a hundred posters were displayed on the exhibition board at the venue.
The report sharing and poster display aroused strong responses and heated discussions among the participants. Four workshops were highly welcomed by attendees, with four keynote speakers from Miao Long, researcher of Institute of Biophysics of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Guang Shouhong, professor of University of Science and Technology of China, Ou Guangshuo, professor of Tsinghua University, and Zhang Hong, researcher of Institute of Biophysics of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
