Our Story
In October 2016, SunyBiotech was founded in Fuzhou, China, with a simple yet ambitious belief: to make model organism research more precise, more efficient, and more accessible to scientists everywhere.
Over the past ten years, we have remained laser-focused on providing high-quality transgenic and biotechnology services in Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans). Powered by the CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing system, we offer a comprehensive suite of services—from knockout and knock-in to X-ray-induced multi-copy insertions, plasmid construction, and a wide range of phenotypic assays.
What started as a single lab has now grown into a trusted global partner, serving over 700 labs across 36 countries. These numbers are not just milestones—they are a testament to the trust that thousands of researchers have placed in us, one strain at a time.
