Recently, the three laboratories of Albertha J. M. Walhout of the University of Massachusetts, Frank C. Schroeder of Cornell University and Erik C. Andersen of Northwestern University collaborated to reveal the impact of individual variation in metabolism using the model C. elegans. The research result was published in Nature entitled C. elegans as a model for inter-individual variation in metabolism.
It is worth mentioning that SunyBiotech has provided precise gene editing services using the CRISPR/Cas9 system for this research, which helps to demonstrate the causal relationship that produces differences in 3HP-AAs metabolites, and to further reproduce the core research content on changes in metabolic responses resulting from individual variation.
